Ivalice, un reino bendecido por la luz de los dioses y gobernado por el león de dos cabezas. Un año después de la derrota contra Ordallia en la guerra de los Cincuenta Años, una enfermedad se cobró la vida del rey, que dejó a un niño de dos años como heredero del trono.
Quien fuera nombrado regente sería el verdadero gobernante, y surgieron dos candidatos rivales: los duques Goltanna y Larg, que gozaban de gran prestigio por sus hazañas bélicas. Goltanna, el león negro, y Larg, el león blanco, estaban destinados a enfrentarse, y el conflicto resultante sería bautizado como la guerra de los Leones.
En este contexto aparecen Ramza, el tercer hijo de la casa Beoulve, una de las dinastías militares más prominentes de Ivalice, y su amigo de la infancia Delita, un plebeyo criado entre nobles. Mientras intentan abrirse camino por esta conflictiva era, una poderosa corriente los arrastra cada vez más cerca del abismo.
Dirige a tu grupo en enfrentamientos emocionantes donde el resultado depende de la planificación y el posicionamiento estratégico. Saca partido a los distintos terrenos de los campos de batalla en 3D, manipula diestramente el orden de los turnos, y la victoria será tuya.
Combina una amplia variedad de trabajos y habilidades para crear estrategias propias.
El progresivo desarrollo de los miembros de tu grupo les dará acceso a más trabajos, cada uno con habilidades únicas. Una vez aprendidas, las habilidades pueden usarse incluso después de cambiar de trabajo. Hay más de 20 trabajos para dominar (mago blanco, mago negro, draconarius y muchos otros procedentes de la serie FINAL FANTASY) y cientos de habilidades para aprender, así que tienes libertad para experimentar y descubrir las combinaciones que mejor funcionan en tu grupo. También es posible domesticar chocobos y otras criaturas para que participen en los combates.
Con gráficos mejorados, voces para los diálogos y una jugabilidad perfeccionada, Enhanced Mode es la forma perfecta de sumergirte en el mundo de Ivalice.
