Dying Light: The Beast es una aventura de zombis ambientada tras el apocalipsis que arrasó el conocido bosque de Castor. Tras 13 años de experimentos, escapas y comienzas a perseguir a tus captores, hasta descubrir que hay más en juego. La región no está tan poblada como antes, pero aún queda gente, facciones diversas y muchos horrores por descubrir. Te encerraron como si fueras un animal. Tantos años de brutales experimentos te han pasado factura, pero el ADN de los zombis y el tuyo ahora son uno, ¡de modo que podrás liberar el poder de la bestia que corre por tus venas! Nadie puede arrebatártelo, así que úsalo y descubrirás que no solo supone una maldición.
Durante el día podrás explorar la región y aprovechar tu tiempo al máximo mientras brilla el sol. Sin embargo, al atardecer, las leyes de la naturaleza toman el mando. La oscuridad saca lo peor de la horda, por lo que no te quedará más opción que correr, esconderte o luchar.
